Who I am

I was born where the wind still carries the names of the ancestors

My name is Anya Udgan. I grew up in the Darkhad valley, in northern Mongolia, among my family's herds and the stories of my grandmother Tsendmaa, who had been healing the people of the camp for fifty years. In our language, the word udgan refers to a woman who heals through song and drum. I was given this name at twenty-four, after seven years of apprenticeship.

My practice is rooted in an oral transmission, received from three elders of Khövsgöl, and in twenty years of accompanying people in Europe. I have invented nothing: I pass on what was entrusted to me, translating it for contemporary lives, busy schedules and homes with no hearth at their center.

What I offer is simple. A space where you can set down what weighs on you, reclaim what was left behind along the way, and leave with a little more room inside. I work with the drum, the breath, smudging plants and silence — a great deal of silence.

My specialties

Six ways to cross over

Each life path carries its own blockages, callings and transformations. I offer rituals and support drawn from Mongolian tradition, adapted to your deepest intention. Whether to free yourself, protect yourself or open a new path, I guide you with precision and respect.

Energy healing

Rebalancing the subtle body through the laying on of hands, chanting, and mugwort smudging. For persistent fatigue, transitional periods, and bodies that can no longer find rest.

Shamanic journeys

Carried by the steady beat of the drum, we go in search of information, a part of you left behind, or the answer to a question you have long carried with you.

Women's circles

Once a month, twelve seats around the fire. Open sharing, singing, group drumming, and a ritual tied to the current moon. No prerequisites, no obligation to speak.

Path opening & spiritual protection

These traditional Mongolian rituals aim to remove the invisible obstacles that hinder a person's progress (professional, relational, emotional, or destiny blockages). It calls upon the protective spirits of the steppe to create an energy shield and open new favorable paths.

Rites of passage

Birth, adulthood, union, separation, retirement, moving in. A ritual built with you to mark a threshold and truly cross it, surrounded by your loved ones.

Ancestral healing & lineage liberation

Ancestral healing and work on family lineages. Through traditional Mongolian rituals, this offers assistance in identifying and releasing the burdens, blockages, sorrows, and patterns passed down from generation to generation.
