Frequently asked questions

Shamanism is an ancient spiritual practice that allows communication with the spirit world in order to heal, protect and restore harmony. Among the Mongols, the shaman (or udgan for women) acts as a bridge between the visible and the invisible.

A shaman works with spirits, souls and subtle energies. They can heal, but also guide souls, clear ancestral blockages or restore a person's balance with their destiny.

Yes. Mongolian shamanism (böö mörgöl) is very ancient and strongly connected to nature, ancestors and the spirits of the steppe. Rituals often involve the drum, fire, offerings and sacred songs.

Many people experience real changes after a ritual: a sense of peace, clarity, emotional release or improvement in blocked situations. Results depend on the person's openness and the accuracy of the ritual.

Anya Udgan is a 50-year-old Mongolian woman from a lineage of shamans. She holds the traditional title of Udgan, reserved for female shamans in Mongolia and Siberia.

Anya was born and raised in the Mongolian steppe, within a family that has maintained shamanic traditions for several generations.

As is often the case in the tradition, Anya received the call of the spirits (the “shamanic illness”). She was then trained for many years by elders and received the official initiation to become an Udgan.

Yes. She strictly follows the protocols transmitted by her elders while adapting certain rituals to make them accessible to people today.

Because many people around the world are seeking authentic help. Anya wishes to share the wisdom of her lineage beyond the borders of Mongolia.

A ritual performed by an initiated shaman brings a power and precision that meditation alone cannot always achieve, especially for deep or ancestral blockages.

People often report greater clarity, a sense of protection, the release of heavy emotions, improvement in relational or professional situations, and a renewed vital energy.

Yes. Each ritual is performed taking into account your situation, your intention and what the spirits indicate. It is never a generic ritual.

Anya is an authentic Udgan, trained in the Mongolian tradition. She did not improvise as a shaman: she carries a lineage and decades of experience.

You receive a confirmation, then Anya performs the ritual within a defined timeframe. You are then informed when the work is complete and, depending on the ritual, you may receive guidance or advice to integrate the effects.
